To play this larp, you are probably a person who would be comfortable attending a sexual party or a club with a dark room. But you are also something else: a larper first, who is interested in telling a story, about characters whose choices and preferences might be very different from your own. You need to be able to engage as intently in sensual role-play situations whether they are simulated or not and you need to be able to let your character’s path lead you even when it moves you away from a person or an interaction that you might prioritize if the situation occurred in your real life.

The first run of FREE AND EASY will be cast by invitation only. If this guide has been shared with you and you’re interested in playing but have not received an invitation, you are welcome to contact the organisers at info@sifgames.com. After signup has ended, there will be a flagging round before casting is finalized.

After the first signup round has concluded, there will be an automatic flagging process. This will be managed entirely confidentially by Johanna Morgan. Because this is a very small larp, it is not possible to ensure that players will not play together, and so there are only three flagging options:

• Red – “I have personal experience with this person that makes me believe they are not safe to play with in this larp.” Johanna will be in touch personally to discuss this with you to understand the situation and take appropriate action on a case-by-case basis.
• Yellow – “I don’t feel comfortable playing this larp with this person. If they get a role, I do not want to play.” This may be for any reason – maybe someone is an ex or current partner or they tend to come on a bit strong at after parties. If it is down to one or the other of you, a role will be granted randomly.
• Green – “I really want to play with this person.” This is someone you definitely want to see at the larp and if they don’t get a spot, you aren’t interested in playing. Please keep in mind that if they don’t also green flag you, it is possible that they get a spot but you don’t.
