A full-immersion content larp for 12 players

Practical

This game is for 12 players and designed in the content larp style. Boundaries for physical intimacy are decided by the players rather than the game and is for open-minded, sex-positive, and experienced larpers who play to flow. The setting and background is one which is conducive to exploring different types of relationships, levels of intimacy, and (simulated) physical violence. We trust players to always remain in control and be respectful of themselves and each other, and all scenes are possible only with full player consent which may be withdrawn (and scenes ended immediately) at any time.

Characters and their major relationships are pre-written; while additional relationships may come out or be developed in the course of the game, this is neither a sandbox game nor one which requires preplay.

This is a non-transparent game: secrets are key elements and should be exposed in-game to lead to internal and external conflict, great revelations, intimidation, etc., so players are asked to minimize pre-game chatter about their characters. If you aren’t sure if you should share something or not, it is best to assume that everything in your full character sheet (not the public profile) may be a secret and simply keep it for the game.

Dates and Location

We are casually looking for a location to play this larp! See our requirements here, and let us know if you have something that could work.

The game would most likely take place over a long weekend, dates and location still TBD. Can you help organize, do you have the perfect location, or are you interested in participating? Please let us know here!

Costumes

Costuming should vaguely reflect the ancient world: loose and flowing robes, simple dresses or peploi, tunics with or without leggings, sandals or simple not-too-modern footwear. The game aligns generally with the ancient world but not to a specific period and perfectly accurate garb is therefore not required; find some inspiration here.

To indicate their status in the game, priestesses will additionally wear a red sash provided by the organizers and are encouraged to design their costume with red tones if at all possible. If you are not playing a priestess, please avoid red as a base color.
