Tickets

Only after a location has been selected can we confirm the fee for the run, but it will include accommodation, meals, and the game itself. To try to accommodate players from different walks of life, we will offer four ticket types which differ only in price:

• Normal ticket: approximately €300-400
• Supporter ticket: €100-200 more than the normal ticket; each Supporter ticket will allow us to offer one Subsidized ticket
• Subsidized ticket: €100-200 less than the normal ticket, the number offered will depend on the number of Supporters who receive spots
• Free tickets: 2 free tickets per run will be provided by the organizers

Anyone may sign up for any kind of ticket and this will be visible to the organizers for the purposes of administration, but the availability of free and subsidized tickets will be limited and priority placed on players who are are long-term disabled, long-term unemployed, first-time larpers, in full-time education, or any combination of these. All tickets secure the same larp experience and excepting simple ticket availability, your choice of ticket will not have any impact on your likelihood of getting a spot.

Only players at least 18 years of age at the date of signup may do so.

Signup process

Signup will initially remain open for a period of 1 month, after which time all additional signups will be automatically added to our waiting list. Once this period has closed, we will run a flagging process. Players will be provided a spot based on a combination of suitability (determined from the information provided during signup on motivation to play this game and larp experience, where we will prioritize larpers with a range of experiences) and random selection. Players will then be informed whether or not they have a spot and payment requested.

Flagging process

Flagging will be managed entirely confidentially by Johanna Morgan and include all organizers and additional batches of players added to the waitlist before the game, should they receive a spot. Because this is a small larp, it is not possible to ensure that players will not play together, and so there are only four flagging options:

• Red – “I have personal experience with this person that makes me believe they are not safe to play with in this larp.” Johanna will be in touch personally to discuss this with you to understand the situation and take appropriate action on a case-by-case basis.
• Yellow – “I don’t feel comfortable playing this larp with this person. If they get a role, I do not want to play.” This may be for any reason – maybe someone is an ex or current partner or they tend to come on a bit strong at after parties. If it is down to one or the other of you, a role will be granted randomly.
• Blue – “I really want to play with this person and if they do not get a role, I don't want to play.” This is someone you definitely want to see at the larp and if they don’t get a spot, you aren’t interested either. Please keep in mind that if they don’t also blue flag you, it is possible that they get a spot but you don’t.
• Green -- "I really want to play with this person." This is someone you'd like to play closely with, maybe with a close relationship or in the same activity group. This is something we will try to honor as much as possible, but cannot promise we will be able to.
